What is the dress code?

We’d love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day. We are requesting a formal/black tie optional dress code. Ladies are encouraged to wear floor-length, tea length, or midi-length formal dresses. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie or tuxedo. We know many of our friends and family are fashion-forward and encourage you to show off your unique style!

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a “plus one”, this information will be on the wedding invitation you receive in the mail. In addition, this information will be clearly visible when you RSVP online. Thank you for understanding!

Are children invited?

We have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only, 21+ event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?

There will be no group transportation from the hotel to the venue. The venue is about twenty minutes from the hotel. We encourage you to utilize Uber or Lyft to travel safely. If you are driving to and from the venue, there is parking available on-site. There is no overnight parking permitted.

What information should I know about the venue?

The Nixon Library is a federal building. There is no smoking or weapons permitted on the premises. There is a security checkpoint all guests will be required to pass through prior to entering the venue.
